At present,
Achieve-Success is researching all aspects of recruitment, selection and
promotion interviews with a view to identifying and building a picture of excellent
practice not only in the UK but internationally. We want to
obtain views from both sides of the interview, being a candidate and being the
interviewer.
We would
like to hear from people about their experience of the interview and the
process as a whole. We are looking for examples of what went well and what was
not so good.
We are researching
the whole process - job advert, the invitation letter and packs: pre interview
- the interview as a process, the interviewers, their style, questioning skills
etc: post interview letters of success or failure, general information etc. and
anything else you would like to comment on relating to your experience of
recruitment, selection and promotion interviews
We would
like you to mention the business sector involved e.g. finance, retail etc. This
information help build up a picture of recruitment practices from the various
business sectors.
We would
appreciate responses not only from the U.K. where Achieve-Success is based but
also from any other country to give a broader picture of recruitment processes
and techniques.
We have
opted for an open response rather that a directed questionnaire, as we hope
people will be open and provide us with lots of examples of good and poor
recruitment, selection and promotion practices.
If it is
OK to contact you via e-mail, please say so. If not, state, no reply and we
will respect your wishes.
